The most versatile manikin for all rescue scenarios typically practiced by emergency rescue professionals including: Confined Space, USAR, Chemical/Biological Hazard, Road Traffic Collision (RTC) & general handling exercises - ensuring effective, realistic training.
Now constructed in the same flame-retardant Polyester used in Police ballistic/stab vests, which typically has 4 times the strength and abrasion resistance of 16oz canvas or P.V.C (the materials previously used ) - making the manikins even stronger than before.

Note: These manikins will withstand temperatures up to 100°C - above this temperature or where 'flash-over' may occur, we recommend using our Fire House training manikin. The Duty model also has normal weighting so should not be used in deep water, for deep water rescue scenarios use the Water Rescue dummy which is designed to float appropriately.
Main carcass - Constructed in the same flame retardant Polyester (conforms to BS EN ISO 15025:2002) used in Police ballistic/stab vests.
Main carcass - reinforced with with 38mm Nomex webbing – standard Polypropylene webbing will go brittle and melt at the high temperatures this manikin is designed to withstand.
Protective coveralls are constructed using a Nomex blend material (conforms to EN11612) and offers good protection against high temperatures - it is permanently non-flammable and most commonly used in protective clothing to protect against heat and flames.
Protective coveralls are also reinforced using Nomex webbing to improve the abrasion resistance and strength.
Protective coveralls are fitted using 20mm Kevlar ties, as the standard Velcro fastening melt at these high temperatures.
The ends of the coverall arms, which have been identified as a high wear area, are reinforced with 5mm leather to provide extra protection.
